Role Title: Clinical Operations Director
Location: Remote in Virginia with Occasional In-Person Oversight
Reports to: CEO
Purpose: To lead and manage all core clinical operations across ABA and OPT programs with a high-performance mindset. This includes staff scheduling, intern oversight, hiring flow, supervisor accountability, and productivity-to-revenue alignment. This role bridges clinical integrity with operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Staff Scheduling & Forecast Oversight
o Ensure region-by-region staffing coverage based on client hours
o Track scheduled vs. billed hours across all teams
o Flag gaps, overages, and missed revenue targets proactively
2. Intern Program Leadership
o Own onboarding, assignment, and supervision coordination for interns
o Track intern productivity, compliance, and supervisor feedback
o Create reporting rhythm for intern-to-hire pipeline ROI
3. Hiring Flow + Performance Onboarding
o Oversee candidate pipeline, orientation, and ramp-up for all clinical roles
o Ensure every hire is tracked from offer to active billing hours
o Collaborate with HR to maintain hiring scorecard metrics
4. Supervisor Management & Accountability
o Assign clinical supervisors by region/program
o Hold weekly performance pulse (hours, engagement, client feedback)
o Ensure each supervisor manages their team toward 9.5-level effectiveness
5. Data-Driven Operational Leadership
o Use dashboards to tie clinical activity to financial performance
o Present weekly insights to CEO on team capacity, risk, and strategic needs
o Recommend incentive structures and regional adjustments based on data
Qualifications:
· Clinical background preferred in the field of ABA. BCBA preferred.
· Experience managing clinical teams (20+ staff)
· High performance, system-minded, and outcomes-focused
· Comfortable with tech tools: Smartsheet, Excel, dashboard software
· Emotionally intelligent; can lead with structure and clarity without micromanagement
